Hmm, my "Mooncake Festival" performance is on Sunday. I'm really looking forward to it... Hope that it'll be a success, that it won't be a washout, that even though we're appearing in different performance clothing (Tingyew in a nanquan suit -.-"), the audience won't find it too shabby... Good thing the stage is a big enough size, or us 5 will be flying everywhere off the stage!
People are starting to comment that my wishlist compromises of very expensive amenities, if you can call it that, which I think you can't, but I'll still use it anyway. (Gosh, what am I saying?) Is wanting a handphone, an electric guitar, and a new laptop so very lustful?
I mean, the phone is an MP3 player, a radio, a 1.3 megapixel camera and a communication device all rolled into one. Is it that unreasonable wanting it?
The electric guitar. I don't even have an acoustic guitar, not even an amplifier, only a lousy classical one. Admittedly, it looks good, but the classical guitar will limit my learning scope. If I want to improve, an electric guitar is needed, and the Pignose doesn't even need an external amplifier, how about that?
And the laptop? Well, for one, my current laptop isn't even a laptop. It's a Toshiba desktop replacement with a lousy graphics card. And it weighs more than 4.5kg. Imagine that. And it can barely play Need For Speed Underground. I lug it around quite often, so I need a lighter laptop with better functions and the Acer fits the bill perfectly, being a top ender without having that hefty a price tag. Sure, it can't keep up with a Toshiba in the quality department, but the performance and harware functions far exceed any Toshiba out there. While I love Toshiba very much, I think it's time to move on to better things in life.
The only problem is that there's no way a friend is going to get any of these items as a present for your birthday... -.-"
No school next week, but there's no cause for rejoicing here. It's a study break, and the first paper is next Friday. Mugging time~!!! I shall go to J2 next year. ^^
A few weird thing are happening. I noticed that I am no longer the same guy as I used to be last year. Somehow, almost everything has changed, my personality undergoing the most change and my height, the least. I'm even wearing contact lenses now, something I thought that I would never do in the past. Time to get a pair of Rudy Project sunglasses for cycling and the like. I'll add that to my wishlist the next time, haha. ^^ And I'm never going for a pair of Oakleys. It has an overhyped image, for sure, and way overpriced!
Anyway, I have to go now. It's getting late and I need to bathe. Catch all of you another time yeah? NiteZ, especially to the wushu guyz & galz ;D. You people are special. ^^
