On another note, I'm looking to build a stratocaster. So which first? Well, considering that I already have 2 electric guitars, I think it's the multi-fx, non? =)

It IS more useful for recording... Can plug in 2 instruments at once, so you can record say, guitar and microphone, or guitar and bass, or two guitars, or even microphone and bass (sounds daft to me, but you never know, haha!). I have a feeling that it'll burn a big hole in the pocket though... Think can record drums through the voice effects too, that'll be really useful hehs!
